How to choose the right bicycle?
If you want to start an adventure with a new sport or leisure activity, you'll need the right equipment: a bicycle from the Kanclera NAMS store (Katoļu iela 7, Jelgava) or the online shop kanclers.lv. Cycling is not only fun and healthy, but also a way to enjoy physically demanding training on long rides. To make it work, you need to choose the right bicycle.
The most important question before buying: what road conditions and how long are the rides the bicycle is intended for? Our sales staff will surely ask whether you need a road, city, or mountain bike. Below is a description of each bicycle type along with sizing tables to help you choose.
CHILDREN'S BICYCLES
Designed for the youngest cyclists. Thoughtful construction ensures maximum safety, and the design is tailored to young riders' tastes.

BMX AND DIRT JUMP BICYCLES
BMX bikes are most often used for tricks, with few components, a very light and durable tube frame, high handlebars; used in competitions and trick demonstrations. DIRT JUMP lets you do the same as BMX, but is more stable and ready for higher speeds.

ELECTRIC BICYCLES
Designed for people who need to make pedaling easier, because thanks to the motor, riding is much simpler and easier than with a traditional bicycle.

GRAVEL BICYCLES
The frame geometry is somewhere between a road bike and an off-road mountain bike. It rides a little slower but is more stable, especially on descents with low grip. It has become very popular in recent years.

MOUNTAIN BICYCLES (MTB)
With thick tires and good maneuverability, making it perfectly suited for riding on difficult terrain, including especially uneven surfaces.

Adapted for riding on asphalt and cobblestones, with a comfortable design for short and undemanding routes in the urban environment.

TOURING BICYCLES
Designed for comfortably covering long distances: especially durable and reliable, with an upright seating position for calmer riding and plenty of room for carrying bags and touring gear.
