Olive Oil Soap Base, 1 kg

Moisturising soap base with olive oil is a quality foundation for homemade soap making, providing gentle cleansing and intensive skin hydration. Olive oil gives the soaps a natural greenish tint and a softening effect, making them especially suitable for sensitive skin.

Cut the soap base into smaller pieces and melt over a water bath (50–70 °C). Do not allow the water in the bain-marie to boil, and the temperature of the soap base must not exceed 70–80 °C. Pour the liquid mixture into silicone moulds and allow it to harden for about 1 hour before removing from the moulds. Allow the soaps to harden for 24 hours on an absorbent surface (for example, cardboard).
